On 24th, May, during the whole privince fastening the coastal region development working conference session, Shi Taifeng, the Deputy Secretary of Jiangsu Provincial Party and the Governor of Jiangsu Province, Fan Jinlong, Provincial party committee member and theprovincial Party committee secretary, Yang Xingshi, the municipal party secretary of Lianyungang city, Xiang Xuelong, the Mayor of Lianyuanggang city, came to inspect Shenghong Petrochemical. Miao Hangen,the group Chairman and President, Zheng Guodong, the General Manager of petrochremical region, etc. accompanied the leaders to inspect, and reported the enterprise condition.

In Sailboat Central Control Room, Miao Hangen introduced Shenghong Petrochemical construction and development situation to Shi Taifeng and others firstly.In response to Jiangsu coastal area development strategy, Shenghong Holding Group settled in Xuwei New Distrect in 2010, constructing Shenghong Petrochemical industrial park. At present, they already invested over 20 billion yuan, completed 1.5 million tons/year PTA project, mearly 1 million CBM liquid chemicals storage project, 3 berths of liquid chemicals harbor project and congeneration project. Part of the alcohol polygeneration projects were finished and began the trial production, they planned to complete it at the end of 2016, by then they would have the production capacity of annual sales revenue 30 billion yuan. Shi Taifeng praised the construction scale of Shenghong Petrochemical, and affirmed the development achievement of Shenghong Petrochemical.

For the next step of the enterprise development, Miao Hangen introduced, in order to seize the national construction of Lianyungang petrochemical industrial base, under the strongly support of provicial and city Party committee and the government, Shenghong Group took an active part in base construction, planned to build 1.6 million tons/year oil refining, 2.8 million tons/year p-xylene, 1.1 million tons/year ethylene and its downstream derivatives, supporting 300 thousnad crude oil terminal and utilities, etc. The preliminary work of the refining-chemical integration goes well at present, and it planned to acquire approval and start to construction before the end of 2016, constructed and put into operation in 2019.  

Miao Hangen highlighted that Shenghong would uphold the concept of “safety and green, innovation-driven,social responsibility, benefit its staff”, developing circular economy,low carbon economy, realizing region complementation and linkage of suoth and north of Jiangsu, constructing the world-class petrochemical industry according to the most advanced concept both of international and inland, as well as the most strict standards. Firstly it would realize the integration of oil refining and chemical engineering, the coupling development of petrochemical engineering and morden coal chemical industry. It would pass the utility island which is with the core of IGCC. And it would realize the efficient, clean, low carbon recycle utilization of petroleum and coal. Secondly it needed to execute the latest environmental protection emmission standards. According to the emission limit requirement of the Yangte River Delta region, through cleaner production, fully hydrogenation process, to sharply reduce the main pollutant discharge. Thirdly, planned in advance, produced the clean naphtha and diesel oil product according to national VI standards.

After knowing the detail of the company, Shi Taifeng encouraged Shenghong to set up higher development target, under the broad environment of Jiangsu coastal area development, combine“the Belt and Road Initiatives”and the great opportunity of natinal petrochemical industrial base, to make the enterprise a high-tech, environmetal protection, green and cyclic development modernized industry. And made a greater effect on the regional development.
