Using “high-end element”to drive industry to “high-end level”

On the morning of 5^th, August, Li Qiang, the Secretary of Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee, accompanied by Fan Jinlong, the Provincial Party Committee mumber and Secretary General, Yang Xingshi, Lianyungang Municipal Party Committee mumber, surveyed the construction development condition of Shenghong petrochemical. Miao Hangen, the Group Chirman and President,Zheng Guodong, the Vice President and Petrochemial Plate General Manager, and other company leaders warmly received Li Qiang and its staff, and reported the enterprise condition.

In Sailboat central control room, Miao Hangen introduced every project plan, construction and operation of Shenghong Petrochemical Industry Park to Li Qiang. Miao Hangen said, to deeply intergrated natinal “the Belt and Road Initiative”development strategy, abut joint of Jiangsu province coastal development strategy, Shenghong settled in Xuwei new district,Lianyungang in 2010 to build Shenghong Petrochemical Industry Park. Now, the industry park has built annual output 1.5 million tons PTA project and its matched congeneration, liquid chemicals harbor, liquid chemicals storage project. Part plants of Sailboat 3.6 million tons per year alcohol cogeneration project has already completed and put into operation, and plan to realize overall production at the end of this year. In order to seize the opportunity of national building Lianyungang petrochemical industrial base, under the strongly support of provincial and municipal Party committee, the group adhere to the concept of “safety and green, innovation-driven, social responsibility, benefit its staff”, actively take part in the refining-chemical intergration construction.

After detailed listening to the condition introduction, Li Qiang praized Shenghong Petrochemical of its high standard, broad layout, fast construction development speed. Li Qiang said, Shenghong Petrochemical not only made great significant to Lianyungang economic society development, but also played an important role in Jiangsu harmonious development. Li Qiang hoped Shenghong Petrochemical positively integrated with “the Belt and Road Initiative”construction, elaborate exert its advantages in region, harbor, resource and talent, set up great carrier platform, gather major project, positively propel technology upgrading and scientific and technological innovation, expand development new space during opening up. Li Qiang pointed out that, coastal development should insist on high standard and high threshold, to drive the industry to high-end level by introducing high-end element and high-end project. Li Qiang encouraged Shenghong Petrochemical to build world-class petrochemical industry park according to the most advanced idea and most strict standard both international and inland. And he said the Provincial Party Committee and provincial government would keep great concern in all parties in Shenghong Petrochemical construction and development.

He said, the Secretary Li Qiang and its staff visited and guided Shenghong petrochemical at its critical period for construction and development, inspiring the confidence of enterprise development, enhancing the motive power for enterprise advance. We would make Shenghong Petrochemical a science and technology, environmental protection, green and recycle modern industry park, contributing its strength for “regional complementarity, cross River integration, north and south linkage, accelerate the development of the northern Jiangsu area, improve the regional balanced development level”.
